Compression isn't available yet

We've taken this tool offline. An earlier version returned your file at essentially the same size while reporting success.

Genuine compression means re-encoding the images inside a document, and we'd rather build that properly than hand back a file that hasn't changed. It'll return when it actually shrinks things.

A tip in the meantime: most oversized PDFs are large because of scanned images. Exporting at a lower scan resolution, or re-saving from the original source document, usually does more than any compressor.
