Password protection isn't available yet

We've taken this tool offline. An earlier version returned your file without actually encrypting it, which could have left you believing a document was password-protected when it wasn't.

We'd rather tell you plainly than let you rely on something that doesn't work. Proper PDF encryption is on our roadmap and will be released only when it genuinely protects your file.

If you need a password on a PDF today, use desktop software such as Adobe Acrobat, LibreOffice Draw (free), or macOS Preview's export options — all of which encrypt on your own machine without uploading anything.
